I tend to pace around a bit, and randomly pick up items sitting around the house.. looking at them for a few seconds, and then putting them down.

it's difficult to articulate creativity without romanticizing it.. making yourself sound like an airhead. half the time, I really just think of this stuff off the jump. There isn't really any process. I'm kind of like.. Oh, shit while doing an activity and jot an idea down. You don't just wait around looking for inspiration.

earlier this year, I bought a set of playing cards from a company called, liebig. they depicted scenes from the 1800s, paying homage to different civilizations, landmarks, and the natural world. where the fuck I found these? who knows.

i'll say this: alot of creativity is correlated with curiosity. the more curious you are about the work other people do, the more reference points you are able to draw from.

bombed at apollo will now be released one shirt at a time. I had a fascination with military field packs received during the battlefield. That will be incorporated into the garment's presentation.

case study 03 will be based off of a hunting themed short story from the early 1900s, as well as military gear seen in stanley kubrick's dr. strangelove or: how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. it will be a cream colored longsleeved t-shirt, built for almost all conditions, if it is negative 40 degrees out in Antartica, it probably won't protect you.

the upcoming garment is admittedly the one that I am by far the most proud of out of any of the garments released thusfar. from a design perspective, it takes a more educated approach while still maintaining the high number of prints that you have grown accustomed to in old bombed releases. someone alluded to the fact that my previous releases reminded them of 2008-2010s streetwear. 

If I had to make a comparison of what this new garment looks like, it is an early 1900s military gear/WTAPS, or something out of Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey.
